MAAT

Her name literally meant "truth" in ancient Egyptian. She was the truth, the order, the balance and the justice. She was harmony, she was what was right, and what things should be. Maat was reality, the solid grounding of reality that made the Sun rise, the stars shine, the river flood and mankind think. She was the most important deity of them all.
